"Xero Tolerance" is a song by Type O Negative, included on their first album Slow, Deep and Hard, released in 1991. It starts off with a knife being sharpened on a grinder before Sabbath-like guitar riff begins then a high-pitched atonal string-like line (a bit reminiscent of Bernard Herrmann's work on Alfred Hitchcock's film Psycho). This song is about stalking an ex-girlfriend after finding out that she is having sex with another man. "Type "A" Personality Disorder", the first canto of this song, is about being obsessed with hatred by a rage. "Kill You Tonight", the second canto and the same title as the altered version of this song on the album The Origin of the Feces released within a year after Slow, Deep and Hard, is about a drunk man killing his former fiancée and her lover. The third canto, "Love You to Death" (which is also the title of the song on October Rust), is just an acoustic sound overlaid with repeated chopping sound.
This song is one of few humorous spots on the album as "zero" in the song title is spelled with an X instead of Z. When adding 'zero' before the denotor of the good, the situation would be bad. So Steele thought that 'zero' starting with X is appropriate when talking about the unpleasant.

[Canto I. "Type "A" Personality Disorder"]
Hatred
Obsessing me
Hatred
Possessing me
Anger
Burning me
Anger
Turning me
Into someone I don't
Into someone I don't know
Into someone I don't know
Rage
That's shaking me
Rage
That's making me
Into someone I don't
Into someone I don't know
Into someone I don't know
I don't know
[Canto II. "Kill You Tonight"]
I'll kill you tonight
I'll kill you tonight
I'll kill you tonight
I'll fuckin' kill you
And now you die!
Oh you're dead now!
Yeeeaaah-Hoooooo!
I got a pickax in the trunk of my car
I'll put it on the grinder to get it real sharp
There's an ugly green monster in my head
Won't leave me alone
Until you're dead
I called your house but you couldn't be reached
So I took the D train to Brighton Beach
You're doing the thing with a brand new man
Checking out the stars
Screwing on the sand
Kill you
Kill you
Punishment
Kill you
Took some steroids and adrenaline
Finlandia vodka and hallucinogens
Mixed it with blood and orange juice
Liquid protein and ice cubes
Staring down at your sweaty embraces
Put my tool right through your faces
Well buddyboy I hope you enjoyed her
'Cause I'm an equal opportunity destroyer
Kill you
Kill you
Punishment
Kill you
I'll kill you tonight
I'll kill you tonight
I'll kill you tonight
I'll fuckin' kill you
[Canto III. "Love You to Death"]
[Instrumental with chops]
